Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint (commonly referred to as Ghost Recon Breakpoint) is an upcoming online tactical shooter video game developed by Ubisoft Paris and published by Ubisoft. It is due to be released worldwide on October 4, 2019, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and in November 2019 for the Google Stadia. The game is the eleventh installment in the Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon franchise and is a narrative sequel to the 2017 video game Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands.
The game is set in an open world environment called Auroa, a fictional island in the Pacific Ocean. The player takes on the role of Lieutenant Colonel Anthony “Nomad” Perryman,[a] a special forces operative sent to the island to investigate a series of disturbances involving Skell Technology, a military contractor based on Auroa.
The next game in Ubisoft’s spy series is Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, and it’s coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 4. In it, you play as a Ghost, an elite special ops soldier whose fellow soldiers have turned against you. It takes place in an open-world environment, and you can play through the entire game in co-op with up to four players.
New features include a class system (although you can swap between classes freely), loot in the open world, light survival elements, and Prone Camo (the ability to slather yourself in mud to avoid detection). Post-launch, the game will also add endgame Raids.
Breakpoint catches up with Wildlands’s team leader Nomad. Stranded on a fictional Pacific island, you’ll be contending with rogue ghost Cole D. Walker, played by The Punisher’s Jon Bernthal (who was introduced to Wildlands last week).
Below, we have all the information about Ghost Recon: Breakpoint’s upcoming release, Release date, trailers, and more. Let’s dive in.
Breakpoint’s release date is happily not so far off at all. Ubisoft confirmed we’ll be filling the ghost’s shoes for another round of military-style shooting on PC, Xbox One, and PS4 on October 4, 2019.
Alongside seeing a new cinematic trailer featuring Jon Bernthal’s character Colonel Cole D. Walker rallying his Wolves at E3 2019, it was also revealed that you can now register for Breakpoint’s beta that’s set to go live a month ahead of launch on September 5, 2019. The beta will run until September 8, and access is available to everyone who registers on PC, Xbox One, and PS4. If you’re really keen to get stuck in on the action early, you can also pre-order a copy which will guarantee you beta access.

Faced with mounting evidence that its products are falling into the hands of corrupt regimes,[b] Skell Technology starts coming under increased public scrutiny. When the company is implicated in an assassination, the United States government decides to investigate further only for Auroa to cut itself off from the outside world. Nomad, the leader of a Ghost Recon fireteam deployed to Auroa, finds that former Ghost Cole D. Walker has gone rogue. A private military contractor named Sentinel has occupied the island under Walker’s command while Walker himself is leading a team of soldiers calling themselves the “Wolves”. Armed with cutting-edge weapons and equipment, the Wolves have commandeered Skell Technology’s drone production as part of a self-appointed mission to safeguard the future of warfare.
Experience life as a Ghost, an elite US Special Operations soldier, as you fight back from behind enemy lines on the toughest mission of your career.
Now when your Ghost takes damage they may also become injured. These injuries will slow you down and reduce your combat effectiveness requiring additional time and resources to heal your Ghost back up to peak fighting condition.
TERRAIN AND STAMINA
The world of Auroa will push your Ghost to their limits. Steep slopes will make you slip and fall, traversing water or snow will slow you down. Properly managing your stamina will be essential to surviving and fighting back.
Trapped behind enemy lines The Bivouac is a temporary camp where you and your fellow Ghosts will rest and prepare for the next mission. Clean your weapons, change classes, craft items, upgrade gear, and more. Then select desired time of day and weather before venturing back out.
Leave no man behind. When an ally is down and needs help, instead of giving medical attention in the middle of a firefight, you can quickly sling them over your shoulder and move to safety to get them back on their feet.
Use all your training and skills to infiltrate or evade your enemies as they hunt you without mercy.
As a Ghost you can disappear into your environment making you nearly invisible to your enemies. Use this feature to set up an ambush or avoid detection when cover is not available.
ADVANCED ENEMY AI
The Wolves and their allies are experienced elite soldiers and will communicate amongst themselves to hunt you down if detected. With a wide variety of AI archetypes and behaviors, no two encounters will be the same.
An adaptive cover system will automatically match your Ghost’s body position to available cover and execute advanced tactics, such as leaning to aim around corners.
